Rose Mutiso discusses Africa’s energy transition

Rose M. Mutiso is Research Director at the Energy for Growth Hub where her research interests are especially focused on net zero modelling, electric vehicles, and emerging energy technologies.

She recently joined The African Climate Conversation to share her expertise in this area and, in particular, how it impacts Africa’s energy transition and what net zero means for Africa.

Rose also discusses COP27 and her hope that African countries will continue to keep up the symbolic pressure on developed nations to fulfil their emission and climate financing pledges as well as develop constructive solutions of their own for tackling climate change on the continent.
