Sameer Usgaonkar
Director and Head of Project Finance, South Asia
Sameer Usgaonkar joined British International Investment in 2020 and is now working as Director, Head of Project Finance South Asia – a position he has held since May 2021.
Sameer leads on building our project finance business in India and South Asia (excluding Pakistan).
Prior to BII, Sameer headed project and export finance at Standard Chartered for South Asia, and worked at ANZ Investment Bank, as well as the World Bank.
Sameer has over 30 years of experience in infrastructure and energy, having started his career as an engineer.
