Update on third-party fraudulent impersonation activity

It has come to our attention that third parties are impersonating British International Investment and making fraudulent requests for money.

BII does not solicit funds from members of the public, as it is a government-funded organisation.

Any request for payment claiming to be from BII should be treated as fraudulent.

If you receive such a request, you should not respond or make any payment and are advised to report the matter to the police and your bank.
