Increasing the role of African youth in climate action

Green Africa Youth Organization is a youth-led gender-balanced advocacy group with a mission to provide solutions to pressing environmental issues through youth empowerment, skills development and public education.

This video was originally filmed for the Africa Adaptation Summit which was hosted by the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA) in a Friends of GCA High-level Dialogue for COP27. The summit gathered global leaders from across governments, international organisations, multilateral development banks, central banks, the private sector, mayors, civil society, youth leaders, and other stakeholders.
