The latest from Africa’s largest independent power producer

In 2015, CDC and Norfund – the Norwegian investment fund for developing countries – took direct control of Globeleq Africa, the largest independent power producer on the continent. One of the main aims of the investment is to add thousands of megawatts of electricity generating capacity over the next ten years – to light the homes and power the businesses that will help fuel Africa’s growth.

In this video, we speak to Globeleq’s CEO Henry Aszklar, to find out the progress they’re making and their plans for the coming years.
