Anne-Marie Chidzero

Anne-Marie Chidzero has a longstanding career in international development finance. She is the CIO of FSD Africa Investments (FSDAi), a specialist investor in financial sector development, the former CEO of FSD Mozambique with a similar mandate to FSDAi, and Co-founder of Alitheia IDF Managers, a private equity fund manager investing in women-led businesses.
Across her career, she has led a range of development finance entities and projects, and implemented strategies for private sector growth in Africa, in roles at the World Bank Group, CGAP, Africa Enterprise Challenge fund, and with UK Aid and USAID – among others. She has held Board, Investment Committee, and Advisory positions at pioneering inclusive finance organisations in Africa such as the Africa Enterprise Challenge fund, Socremo Bank Mozambique, Untu Bank Zimbabwe, and others. She holds University degrees from McGill University and University of Toronto, Canada, and is a world traveller.
