CDC webinars to mark first anniversary of ESG Toolkit for Fund Managers

CDC will present two, hour-long webinars on its ‘ESG Toolkit for Fund Managers’ on 12 and 13 July 2016, in association with UNPRI.

The first 30 minutes of each webinar will provide a brief overview of the key points from CDC’s popular ESG in the Investment Cycle training programme. For any fund managers that are not CDC GPs or have been unable to attend CDC’s one-day workshop, this will be an opportunity to hear practical tips and insights on how to integrate ESG in a PE investment cycle, including how to handle push-back from promoters and how to structure an effective action plan. There will also be time for questions.

The second 30 minutes will consist of an overview of CDC’s online ‘ESG Toolkit for Fund Managers’ and an update on newly added materials, including ‘Briefing Notes’ on Human Rights, Climate Change, Resource Efficiency, Supply Chains and Cumulative Impacts, as well as new ‘Sector Profiles’ on Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare.

The webinars will be presented by Dr Sam Lacey (Manager, Environmental and Social Responsibility, CDC Group) and the authors of the new sections.

The webinars will be held on:

  • Tuesday 12 July at 16.00 BST
  • Wednesday 13 July at 09.00 BST
