Mirjam Staub-Bisang

Mirjam Staub-Bisang joined British International Investment’s Investment Committee in 2025 and primarily focuses on transactions in the Funds sector.

Mirjam is the Chair of the Board and Senior Advisor for BlackRock Switzerland, previously serving as CEO and on the EMEA Executive Committee and Senior Advisor to BlackRock Sustainable Investing. She has served on and chaired numerous boards of private and public companies and organisations in various industries.

Before BlackRock, Mirjam was the executive chair of a leading Swiss pension fund and CEO of a Zurich-based investment firm and multi-family office which she co-founded. Earlier roles included senior positions in asset management and private equity at Commerzbank and Swiss Life in London and Zurich. She advised corporates as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch and as a lawyer.  She has authored and co-authored works on sustainable investing, including Sustainable Investing: Risks, Regulations, Strategies, Infrastructure as an Asset Class and Nachhaltig Investieren (Sustainable Investing).

Mirjam holds a PhD in Law from the University of Zurich, an MBA from INSEAD and is a licensed attorney-at-law.
