IMPACT= Building investment ecosystems in frontier markets

Monday 13 October 2025 – 4:00pm to 5:30pm

Frontier markets face many challenges – from limited infrastructure and currency volatility to constrained local capital and weak institutions. As traditional aid models evolve, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) have a pivotal role to play in navigating these countries’ complex environments in order to increase investment.

What does it take to build an enabling environment for investment in frontier markets? Which financial tools or innovative financing approaches can help reduce risk and attract investment? And how can DFIs, investors, and policymakers collaborate more effectively to drive long-term, sustainable growth in these markets?

These were the key questions explored during our recent event, where we examined both the barriers to investment and the components needed to build resilient, scalable investment ecosystems in frontier markets.

Watch the recording to hear insights from government leaders and investment experts  on how to unlock investment potential in some of the world’s most challenging yet promising markets
