IMPACT= Inside the capital stack: blended finance fund design in practice

Blended finance funds have emerged as a critical vehicle for directing private capital toward climate and development priorities in emerging markets. Yet despite growing interest, fund structuring can still be challenging with many efforts slowed by complexity and limited standardisation.

Building on the joint British International Investment and BCG report Scaling blended finance, which introduced two practical tools for fund design, the event featured a panel discussion on real-world fund design challenges with leading investors and mangers. This was followed by reflections on how BII has been applying the tools in practice.
