Mobilising investment for ‘income inclusion’

Unlocking economic opportunities for low-income populations to help build a productive, sustainable, and inclusive world, is a common goal for impact investors. However, explicitly directing investment capital towards low-income groups can be challenging and there can be barriers to investing at scale. Building more consensus among investors on how to approach ‘income inclusion’ can help.

This interactive session explored how BII, Nuveen and Temasek approach the question, and initiate a dialogue on what investors can do to standardise practice and achieve more scale.
